Hidden in the hills of Torrecuevas, just outside Almuñécar, is Venta Luciano - a place where Andalusian hospitality goes hand in hand with fiery flamenco. As soon as the sun sinks and the smell of grilled meat rises from the barbecue, you know: this will be no ordinary evening. You are welcomed with open arms, sit down to a rich dinner with drinks, and moments later the show begins. Not a commercial tourist show, but a powerful performance full of soul, tradition and craftsmanship. Guitar, clapping, singing and dancing flow together to create an evening that will linger long after.
Whether you are in pairs, with friends or with family - this is an evening where everyone gets something out of it. You don't have to be a flamenco expert to be touched by the passion of the performers. Everything is informal and warm: the audience is mixed, the atmosphere loose, the setting pure. It takes about three hours: first enjoy the food and the surroundings, then dream away at the performances. Reservations are recommended, as spots are sought after. Parking?
