Playa de la Charca is Salobreña's most famous beach. Here you are literally below the whitewashed village with its Moorish castle, on a wide stretch of beach of coarse sand and pebbles. It slopes gently into the sea, making it suitable for families, couples and everyone in between.
Along the beach you will find a nice paseo with chiringuitos, ice cream stands and plenty of shade. On weekends, many locals also come here for a long lunch or an evening stroll along the sea. A classic Spanish beach with character, without mass tourism.
