Flying over the bay of La Herradura
You stand on a hill, helmet on, legs slightly tense. Below you: the bay of La Herradura, the rolling slopes of the Sierra, and the shimmering blue of the Mediterranean. Then ... a few steps, a tug on the screen - and you're flying.
Paragliding over La Herradura is anything but a standard getaway. It's a brief detachment from the earth, literally. Together with an experienced instructor, you take off from one of the surrounding hills, such as Loma del Gato or Cerro de Itrabo, depending on the wind. You don't have to be able to do anything - except dare.
A flight with a view
The flight takes about 10 to 20 minutes, but feels like a movie in which you play the lead role. Below you see cliffs, vineyards, whitewashed cottages and, in the distance, maybe even the Sierra Nevada. Soothing and spectacular at the same time.
Everything is recorded
📸 During the flight, your pilot films everything with a GoPro. You get that footage later, so you can make your friends back home jealous.
Who are you flying with?
You can choose from reliable providers such as Parapente Tropical (active since 1987) or Fly with Dirk, a Belgian pilot who guides you calmly and professionally. Both arrange transportation to the takeoff point, provide all equipment and take photos and videos of your flight.

Booking: advance reservations are recommended, especially in high season
Clothing: long pants, windbreaker and athletic shoes
Age & weight: from approx. 6 years / between 25 - 90 kg
Price: from €80 per person (including video & transportation)
Best period: April to October, depending on the weather
