Hidden among rocks and pine trees, this charming cove lies just outside the center of Málaga. Baños del Carmen was once built as a bathhouse for the elite, and the atmosphere of days gone by still hangs there. Think old walls, a crooked terrace by the sea and views of fishing boats.
The beach itself is small and a tad wild: rough pebbles, rocks to jump off and a mix of locals, artists and romantics. The terrace chiringuito next door is perfect for sunsets with a glass of wine.
