On the western side of Málaga, near the mouth of the Río Guadalhorce, lies Playa de Guadalmar. This wide sandy beach is partly officially recognized as a nudist beach and attracts both naturists and those seeking peace and quiet. You can mostly hear the murmur of the sea and the murmur of a few beachgoers down the road.

The beach has a natural character, with wide sea views and few buildings in the immediate vicinity. Do not expect a promenade with stores, but rather space, freedom and a relaxed atmosphere. Thanks to its proximity to a protected nature reserve, it is also popular with birdwatchers.
