Skiing in the Sierra Nevada is something special. Not only because when the weather is clear you can see Morocco, but also because you can be on skis in the morning and eat tapas in Granada in the evening. Anyway, before you hoist yourself in goggles and snowsuit: what does it really cost?

Ski pass: from €22

In Sierra Nevada, you choose what suits you: a morning of sleeping in and the afternoon on the slopes, or just a whole week of gliding days. Prices:

  • Half day (from 1 p.m.): as of €22
  • All day: as of €50
  • Día del Esquiador (discount day): €48,50
  • 5 days free to schedule: as of €206,50
  • Family pass (3 days or more): as of €139,44

Good to know: booking online with date is cheaper than on the spot at the box office.

Ski or snowboard rental in Sierra Nevada: €30

Don't have your own gear? No worries. In Pradollano - the heart of the Sierra Nevada - you can rent skis, snowboards, boots and helmets everywhere. On average you pay:

  • Complete package (skis or snowboard + helmet): €30 per day

Clothing rental is also available, although it is recommended that you bring your own gloves and thermal clothing. For your comfort and your wallet.

Additional costs

  • Parking in Pradollano: about €20 per day in high season
  • Lunch on the slopes: average €12 – €15
