Go ziplining in Zafarraya

Climbing, floating and art in nature

The Via Ferrata of Zafarraya is not your average climbing route. It starts with a walk through a natural art museum: among rocks and trees you will discover colorful installations that make you forget for a moment that you are here to climb. But once the harness is put on, the real work begins. You make your way over steep paths, Monkey Bridges, a Tibetan suspension bridge and three long zip lines (from 10 to 35 meters) that literally make you float over the gorge of El Almendral. And all with the rugged Andalusian landscape as a backdrop - rugged rocks, deep valleys and, in the distance, the silhouette of the Sierra.

For daredevils with or without experience

Whether you are trying a Via Ferrata for the first time or have hung with carabiners before, this route is accessible to everyone, with alternatives for the more difficult sections. In a small group of about 7 people, you will set off with a guide. The total activity takes about 3 hours and you will be constantly moving. So be sure to bring comfortable athletic or mountaineering shoes, a cap and water. You may bring your own food and drinks, and afterwards you can relax at the Parideras recreation area - with bar, playground and picnic benches. Parking is free and a shuttle bus will take you to and from the starting point. Price per person: €55.
