Home " Experiences " Market of Salobreña
In Salobreña, the week runs to the rhythm of markets. Every Tuesday (and in summer also on Fridays) you will find a traditional market full of fruits, clothes, accessories and household goods in the central market square. No bells and whistles, just the smell of fresh bread and the voice of a market vendor touting his oranges.
Those who wander through Salobreña on Friday nights in summer will discover something extra: the Friday night market behind the urbanization Cala Verde I. From 8 p.m. to midnight, you can stroll past stalls full of jewelry, crafts and trinkets here, while the air cools and the lights softly flicker on.
Salobreña's markets are not a tourist show, but part of village life. You look, smell, buy a bag of apricots or a handmade bracelet - and walk on with a smile.
