A tough but unforgettable 7.9 km hike through the rugged heart of Sierra de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama Natural Park. You start just outside Frigiliana and walk over steep mountain paths, through narrow gorges and along the winding river Higuerón. Along the way you pass viewpoints such as Mirador Frigiliana and the cross of Cruz de Pinto. The route is technical, with loose stones and sometimes wet riverbeds, but the scenery is spectacular: wild, stony and unspoiled. Highly recommended for practiced hikers who want to see Frigiliana from a rawer side.
