Casa Lola is one of the best-known tapas spots in Málaga. The establishment on Calle Strachan is a stone's throw from the cathedral and bustles from noon. On the stool at the bar or at a small table, enjoy classics like patatas bravas, pimientos de padrón, risotto and pinxtos. The food comes quickly and is surprisingly well priced. Don't expect elaborate table sessions - this is the place for tapas with a smooth twist. Crowded though, so arrive on time or join the queue. Fortunately, the wait is often worth it.
